Sleeping on the floor, eating takeaways and programming into the wee hours of the night were the order of the day when Fuzzy Logic took part in Global Game Jam 2016 over the weekend…bleary eyes were the norm on Monday morning!
For those of you not aware of what Global Game Jam is, basically it’s a worldwide event where people get together in teams and make a game based on a theme announced at 5pm on a the Friday evening at the start of the Jam.
“People are invited to explore new technology tools, trying on new roles in development and testing their skills to do something that requires them to design, develop create, test and make a new game in the time span of 48 hours. The GGJ stimulates collaboration and is not a competition.” (www.globalgamejam.org)
The Fuzzy team actually split up into a few different teams which also included random people from outside of the company that wanted to join in the fun and one team member joining a team in Cape Town University due to his off-site location.
