The Real Case for Gamification


Fuzzy Logic‘s Jason Ried has been in the media again, this time talking about gamification and how it can be used to engage and change the long term behaviour of staff or customers with regards, for example, processes, systems and products. He briefly explores the concept of gaming loops and the psycholoygy behind them, encouraging businesses to work with developers to add meaningful layers to a gamified experience over and above offering traditional rewards such as badges, leadership boards and points. He believes that this is the best way to gain deep engagement from the end user and will lead to more successful gamification projects.
