Fuzzy Logic Studio Launches 3D Modelling and Technical Animation Service

An award-winning immersive technology company based in North Shields has launched a new standalone service after seeing increased industry need.

Fuzzy Logic Studio now offers 3D modelling and technical animation services to companies that want to create high-fidelity, computer-generated renders of their products or environments. The resulting models can elevate sales, marketing, and training materials.

Animated 3D models offer several benefits, including clearly communicating complex design features and procedures in step-by-step visuals. They also enhance engagement by keeping the audience’s attention. A recent study by HubSpot found that product demonstrations, including those using 3D animations, can increase conversion rates by up to 40%. In a training scenario, research shows that 70% of people learn more effectively through visuals and interactive media.

Speaking about the new service, Harvey Trent, Commercial Director, said: “Since Fuzzy Logic’s inception, we have produced interactive 3D models to integrate with our Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality solutions. We have decided to offer 3D modelling and technical animation as a standalone service after seeing an increasing need within our core sectors, which include engineering and manufacturing, transport, and renewable energy.

“The 3D models, which can be developed from photographs or existing CAD data, also act as the first stepping stone on a client's journey to integrating immersive technologies within their day-to-day operations.”

A recent project saw Fuzzy Logic Studio produce a 3D flythrough of a Class 10,000 cleanroom for a local engineering firm. The flythrough of the facility at Pragmatic Park, County Durham, was used to present the final design to project stakeholders and communicate key stages in the construction process. The company has also worked on technical animations for brands including Nissan, Anglo American and Roche.
